Arbitrum DAO launched the $2.5M Security Services Subsidy Fund (SSSF) to subsidize the cost of security services for Arbitrum ecosystem projects.

As part of the Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee (ADPC), Areta led the program's design and execution, structuring eligibility requirements, whitelisting security service providers, managing applications, and ensuring service delivery to subsidy recipients.

The SSSF subsidized security services for 22 projects from a total of 56 applicants. Notably, 36% of selected grantees had never conducted an audit before, demonstrating the program’s success in broadening security access. The SSSF also helped attract new projects to Arbitrum, with 78.6% of applicants indicating that the program influenced their decision to deploy on the network.

Following the program’s success, the Arbitrum Foundation expanded the SSSF into a $10M audit program in 2025, establishing the program as one of Arbitrum’s core ecosystem support initiatives.
