Staking Rewards is the digital asset industry's benchmark data platform for staking and yield, bringing transparency, standardisation, and institutional-grade insight to one of the fastest-growing segments of the crypto ecosystem. Since launching in 2018, Staking Rewards has become the most trusted destination for staking and digital asset yield data, serving more than one million annual users and providing institutional-grade data to leading exchanges, custodians, wallets, validators, asset managers, funds, and protocols across the digital asset ecosystem.

The Tie, a leading provider of intelligence, infrastructure, advisory, and communication solutions powering institutional participation in digital assets, acquired Staking Rewards from Finrate AG to extend its institutional data suite deeper into staking and digital asset yield. The acquisition enables The Tie to integrate Staking Rewards' industry-leading datasets directly into The Tie Terminal and its Data APIs, giving institutional investors richer, more actionable intelligence across digital asset markets, while bringing The Tie's proprietary on-chain analytics, news, and additional datasets to the Staking Rewards platform and its global community of users.

The combination strengthens Staking Rewards' position as the definitive source for staking and digital asset yield data, pairing its industry-leading datasets with The Tie's institutional distribution, on-chain analytics, and market intelligence. Staking Rewards will continue to operate as an independent, neutral, and trusted third-party platform, preserving the objective, comprehensive coverage across staking providers, validators, and protocols that has defined its reputation. Building on that foundation, the platform will expand over time beyond staking into the full digital asset yield landscape, including DeFi and emerging yield-generating mechanisms, cementing its role as the category's benchmark as institutional capital moves decisively into onchain yield. As part of the transaction, Finrate AG will continue to independently operate its Digital Asset Yield Summit (DAYS) and Looping Collective businesses.

This transaction underscores the growing strategic importance of staking and yield data as institutional capital moves decisively into digital asset yield, and as market participants demand more comprehensive, institutional-grade visibility into the returns, risks, and infrastructure underpinning onchain yield.

Areta acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Finrate AG, leveraging its deep expertise in digital asset yield, crypto data infrastructure, and M&A to execute a highly strategic transaction. This marks Areta's seventh transaction in the blockchain data & analytics sector - and our second with The Tie (Areta was the exclusive sell-side advisor to Stakin) this year - underscoring our leadership in the category.
