Arcium Acquires Inpher to Accelerate Confidential Computing Innovation

Inpher’s mission is to enable secure, privacy-preserving data analytics and machine-learning workflows via advanced multi-party computation (MPC) protocols. Over nearly a decade, the company has raised capital from prominent backers and developed patented technology that allows computations on encrypted data without exposing sensitive inputs. 

Arcium, a decentralized confidential-computing platform, has acquired the core technology and team from Inpher in a strategic move to enhance its architecture for encrypted AI, federated learning and high-scale private computation. The acquisition significantly bolsters Arcium’s capability to support complex workloads on fully-encrypted data and accelerates its roadmap toward mainnet launch.
