Former marketing manager and leader across Web3 start-ups and blockchain foundations, with roots in traditional finance at Deutsche Börse and Bank Gutmann.
Sofiya leads marketing at Areta, bringing substantial expertise in go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, communications and strategic partnerships across Web3 and traditional finance.
She began her career in financial services at Deutsche Börse and Bank Gutmann, before transitioning to the digital asset industry. Most recently, she was an early member of the team contributing to Soneium, the Ethereum Layer 2 by Sony Block Solutions Labs. During her time there, she provided extensive marketing support through its testnet and mainnet launches, and contributed to the network's subsequent growth. Before that, she held marketing and growth roles at Astar Network and 727.ventures. She has also been advising early-stage Web3 start-ups on growth and marketing strategies.
Sofiya holds a Master's degree in Financial Management from Kyiv National Economic University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from the University of Vienna.
